Well Worth the Journey
Getting to Shipwreck Lodge takes time, but it’s absolutely worth it. As a family with two teenagers, we spent two unforgettable nights surrounded by raw beauty and warm hospitality. The lodge feels instantly welcoming, the food and service were excellent, and our guide Boro made the experience truly special, from thrilling quad bike rides to tracking wildlife through dry riverbeds. A one-of-a-kind lodge in a truly unique location.
Remote, Exclusive, and Unforgettable
Shipwreck Lodge is truly remote, deep within Skeleton Coast National Park, offering access to surreal landscapes like the clay castles, seen by only a few. Wildlife is sparse but unique, with occasional sightings of jackals, antelope, and seabirds. The food was the best we had in Namibia, especially the riverbed BBQ with unforgettable ribs. The staff were outstanding, warm, knowledgeable, and attentive from the start. It’s a top-tier experience in a rare and beautiful location.
